12 When it was reported to King David, “The Lord has blessed Obed-Edom and everything that belongs to him, for the sake of the ark of God,” David went and brought up the ark of God from the house of Obed-Edom to the City of David with rejoicing. 13 When those who were carrying the ark of the Lord had taken six steps, David would sacrifice an ox and a fattened steer. 14 David danced before the Lord with all of his might, and he wore a linen ephod.
